Indigenous tipi gathering at the White House

From March 7-10, the organization, Native Nations Rise, will be holding a grassroots indigenous tipi gathering on the NW grounds of the National Monument in front of the White House.  All non-indigenous allies are welcome.  The schedule of each day is the following:
–10 am, Water Blessing
–11 am – 1 pm, Cultural Workshops
–4 pm – 7 pm, Presentations/Speakers Panels
This is a  symbolic camp, no overnight sleeping is allowed in the camp.  No other tents allowed.
On Friday, March 10 at 10 am, the Standing Rock Sioux Nation and indigenous leaders will lead a march in prayer and action that will start at the Army Corp of Engineers and end at Lafayette Square.
